International companies making a difference

Of course it’s not only New Zealand companies making a difference, there are lots of organisations around the world trying to do business another way. It’s a sign of how far we have come that we won’t even attempt to catalogue them all, but here are the ones we’re most excited about (again this list is updated constantly and if you know of a company you think should feature then please get in touch):

• Plantible Foods - a biology company unlocking the power of plants, beginning with food.

• Better Dairy - produces animal-free dairy using precision fermentation.

• Ynsect - insect ingredient production for people, animals, and plants.

• YesHealth Group - vertical farming technology.

Packaging

• Keep-it - produces an indicator for food that constantly monitors temperature over time, and shows the actual remaining shelf life of a product.
